St. Jude’s to Distribute 180, 25lb Boxes of FREE Fresh Food

St Jude’s Catholic Church is the local host for the Archdiocese of Portland Food Box Distribution Plan in partnership with the USDA Farmers to Families Program and Pacific Coast Fruit Company.

After a month long hiatus, distribution will resume this Saturday, January 30th.  180 free food boxes weighing 25 pounds will be available and will be given away with the help of the Knights of Columbus.  The boxes include fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products including milk and eggs plus meat.

Every family is welcome to this FREE FOOD BOX on a First Come, First Served basis (maximum 2 boxes per car).  No paper or voucher is needed.  Boxes will be given away every Saturday from January 30 thru March 27.  The distribution is scheduled to run from 1030AM-1230PM or until supplies are gone.

People just need to show-up at the parking lot of St. Jude Church at 4330 Willamette Street in Eugene.
